Metal Halide Lamps
supplied to the reprographic industry are dosed with the iodides
of iron, tin and gallium. In addition to the lamp’s pseudo-continuum
in the 300 to 450 nm range, the gallium adds a strong desirable
line at 420 nm.
These lamps can be operated from quarter power to
full power using the proper switching circuits. The lamps are
available in the 4000 to 7000 watt range.
